🚀🌟 TSA Students Attend 2026 STC STEM Summit 🌟🚀

Students from Mozart Secondary and Van Gogh Secondary TSA chapters attended the 2026 STC STEM Summit at the South Texas College Pecan Campus this past Friday, March 27, 2026.

Our students were exposed to a variety of STEM concepts through engaging sessions led by speakers, vendors, and faculty from STC and UTRGV. They had the incredible opportunity to learn from keynote speaker Dr. Eiman Jahangir, cardiologist and Blue Origin astronaut, who spoke about the effects of space on the human body. 👨‍🚀

Students also enjoyed a presentation by Dr. Amy Bonka from Sea Turtle Incorporated, who highlighted the importance of conserving the Gulf’s ecosystem. 🌊🐢

This was a great opportunity for our students to explore different STEM fields and gain valuable real-world insight. We are proud of our TSA students for continuing to learn and grow! 💙

Our March Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council meeting was a great success! Students from our Early College High School campuses—Rembrandt, Mozart, Beethoven, and Van Gogh—came together to collaborate, build connections, and represent their peers.

Through meaningful conversations and team-building activities, these student leaders continue to strengthen unity across Vanguard Academy while helping shape a shared vision for success.

We will be changing our pick up route this afternoon due to Spring Festival set up. All students will be picked up in front of the school. Middle school through east side doors and high school thorugh west side doors. Thank you for accommodating to our changes. See you tonight!!

Today’s festival will be held in the Mozart Secondary parking lot. All Mozart community guests are asked to park at Mozart Elementary. The east gate connecting the elementary and secondary campuses will be open for easy access.

Come out and join the fun while enjoying student performances by Mariachi Los Caballeros, MS Mariachi, Folklórico teams, and the Drill Team.

🔹 9th–12th Grade: This week’s Wednesday is the last Wednesday of the month, and students must wear their light blue button-down shirt with navy, khaki, or black pants.

Please ensure students are in proper uniform as we continue to maintain a professional and focused learning environment.
