A huge congratulations to three of our very own Vanguard Mozart Secondary Academy juniors — Samantha Gutierrez, Regina Garza, and Camila Puente — have become the first dual credit students to serve as officers in South Texas College’s Student Government Association! They’re leading the way for future dual credit students by representing their voices, ideas, and experiences at the college level. Experience an evening of student-led worship, powerful testimonies, and inspiring speakers. 🙌

Vanguard Academy's Mozart HOSA Officers recently participated in the HOSA Leadership Conference, where they honed their leadership skills, cultivated responsible citizenship, and explored opportunities within the healthcare community. This event serves as an excellent steppingstone for their future careers in healthcare. It was a valuable day for our HOSA members to connect with fellow officers in the region.

In honor of Veteran's Day on Tuesday, November 11th, Mozart students and staff are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue! Jeans will be allowed.

Mozart Secondary is inviting all parents to join their child during designated lunch time to enjoy a Thanksgiving feast. Order your Thanksgiving lunch for $5.50 at the front office or email greyes@vanguardac.net by Tuesday, November 11th. No orders will be taken after Tuesday, Nov. 11th. Come out and enjoy a Thanksgiving feast with your child on Wednesday, November 19th!

November is a short month, but we do have some festivities assigned. Thanksgiving holiday is the week of November 24th - 28th. School resumes November 30th at 8:00 a.m. Attendance is important and everyday counts.
