On Thursday, October 2nd, Vanguard Academy hosted the first Superintendent’s Parent Roundtable of the year at the San Juan Memorial Library. Parents joined Superintendent Dr. Marisol Rocha for an engaging discussion on district initiatives, school updates, and ways families can help shape the future of our schools.

💬 The roundtable created a space to:

✅ Share ideas & feedback
✅ Connect with other parents
✅ Participate in a Q&A session

October is Dyslexia Awareness Month On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, join us in wearing RED as a symbol of boldness, brilliance, and celebration for our dyslexic community. Students may wear red shirts with jeans allowed. Let’s show our support and raise awareness together!

As part of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, your support helps us stand with our Mozart Secondary families battling childhood cancer. Together, we make a difference. 🎗️

Mozart Secondary HOSA students are actively supporting September's Childhood Cancer Awareness Month by honoring one of our own students through a donation to assist with her medical journey. In recognition of her courage, she was also presented with a HOSA shirt. This reflects our belief that once a HOSA member, always a HOSA member. Our thoughts and prayers are with Dana and all children battling cancer.

Our Vanguard Academy volleyball teams (Beethoven, Mozart, Rembrandt and Van Gogh) attended the UTRGV Volleyball match against Lamar University. 

It was a 3-0 sweep!
